Practice Owner

  • Dr. Rebecca Froelich , DVM

I grew up on a farm in Pennsylvania where animals were a large part of my life. However it wasn’t until high school that I decided I wanted to be a veterinarian. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree from Penn State University in 1989 and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois in 1993. Very early in my veterinary school days I realized that, although horses are what brought me into this profession, dogs and cats are my passion to treat as a veterinarian.
After graduation I married, moved to Arlington and in May of 1994, I found my home here at Jason-Little Road Animal Clinic. Being able to help you and your pets brings me fulfillment every day. I value most the relationships we have built over the years and look forward to the new ones to come.
I am a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association and Tarrant County Veterinary Medical Association. I also am very proud to have Jason-Little Road Animal Clinic be certified as an American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) hospital. Maintaining this distinction and level of practice is very important to me.
My personal life includes a wonderful husband, Wayne, our children Thomas, Gavin, Dakota, Nicole, and Serenity, two dogs, three cats, and Jasmine my horse. In my free time I love reading, riding and taking care of my family. The clinic is my pride and joy and I am blessed to have such wonderful staff members and clients. Thank you for being a part of my family here in Texas.

Associate Veterinarians

  • Dr. Nancy Bader , DVM

When I was growing up in Alabama, I was inspired to become a veterinarian, and pursued my dream at Auburn University, earning a Bachelor of Science and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1978. I moved to Texas soon after graduation, and have been associated with our clinic since its inception in 1980. I really enjoy doing surgery at our clinic and working part time. I am grateful that every day we get to celebrate the wonderful relationship between companion pets and their owners.
I have a son and four pets. My dog Abby is a young Sheltie that just graduated from obedience school, and our cats are named Bob and Bittie. Our newest addition is a Boston Terrier pup named Mike. My hobbies are reading, swimming, cycling, and walking my dogs.
I enjoy being active in my profession, having served as a past officer in the Tarrant County Veterinary Medical Association and past board member of the Airport Freeway Animal Emergency Clinic. I maintain active memberships in our state and national professional associations and enjoy pursuing continuing education through these groups. I feel lucky to be a part of a wonderful profession that allows me to help pets and their owners.

  • Dr. Margaret Thompson , DVM

I was seven years old when I first announced to my parents that I wanted to be a veterinarian. I have enjoyed being a part of this profession since completing my DVM degree in 1982. For sixteen years I owned a small animal practice in the mid-cities area.
I have two adult children, two grandsons & a mixed breed dog, Ruth, who is my beloved companion. My part time work gives me more time for family, recreation and volunteer work. Some of my favorite activities, outside family time, are veterinary medical mission work and paddling my solo canoe on white water rivers.
I have been a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association and Dallas & Tarrant County Veterinary Medical Associations since 1982; a member of the Texas Academy of Veterinary Practice (which requires 50 hours of continuing education each year) since 1993 and am a past member of the Cornell Feline Research Center. I am listed in Who’s Who in Veterinary Medicine & Science.
I am delighted to have the privilege of caring for the animals God has given us to enrich our lives. It is truly a joy to work with our clients to maximize their pets’ health, thus giving both pet and client a better quality of life.

My  best friend Mittens, a grey tabby, inspired me to become a Veterinarian around the age of nine. Mittens was a fighter and needed care for his wounds regularly. I began working at a Veterinary Hospital in high school to begin the path to fulfill my dream of becoming a Veterinarian.
I graduated from Texas A&M University with my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree in 1994. I have held several positions as an Associate Veterinarian and also worked as a research Veterinarian in Charleston, South Carolina. I arrived at Jason-Little Road Animal Clinic in July of 2000. It's the best place I've worked in my 15 plus years as a Veterinarian.
My husband Curtis and I live in Azle with our wonderful 4-legged family. The dogs - Daisy, Stubbs, Rufus, Maggie and the cats - William Wallace, Rory, and Ibo are the sunshine rays of our life. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, my friends, and especially my little brother Ryan from Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Staff

  • Resa Meinholdt , Office Manager

Hello! I am so happy to be a member of the wonderful staff here at JLRAC, supporting the doctors and team members as they care for our clients’ animal companions! Having grown up with dogs, cats, chickens, a hamster, and a rabbit, life seems a bit incomplete without a pet at the moment. But, our JLRAC clinic “host” kitties, Ruth, (Dr. Thompson’s sweet dog), and our animal patients help fill the “empty nest”. My working background is mostly comprised of 18 plus years of office management in specialty medical practices in Austin and Dallas, plus support staff positions in medical/dental since 1976. I am thankful everyday for knowledge I have gained thus far and the opportunity to work and learn among the caring staff in this well established, dedicated, and passionate veterinary practice.

I am a farm gal from Kansas. I grew up around many different kinds of animals both domestic and wild. I knew by the age of 5 that I wanted a career working with animals. I moved to the great state of Texas in the summer of 2000. I started working for Jason-Little Road Animal Clinic shortly after enrolling in the Veterinary Technology program at Cedar Valley College in the spring of 2006. It has been a blessing to be able to work in this environment of enthusiastic doctors and staff as well as the fun loving pets and their compassionate owners. When I am not busy with school or work, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband, Mark, and our wonderful pets: 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 horses, and our iguana. With such a caring husband and loving pets, there is never a dull moment in my life.

  • Tiffany Owen , Veterinary Assistant

Hello! My name is Tiffany. Just a little bit about me, I grew up in the country between this tree and that tree. As a child I always loved animals, it didn’t matter what kind, I loved them all! In my sophomore year of high school, I started volunteering with a veterinary clinic in the next town over. After a few weekends, it turned into a job. After I graduated, I worked for a few more veterinarians doing everything from answering phones to mucking out horse stalls. It’s my passion working with animals and I am excited to continue learning more about my passion here at JLRAC!
